Install the Center

The Center runs as a background service; the management interface opens in your browser.

Windows

1. Extract the SaintBackup.Center folder to a permanent location (for example C:\SaintBackup\Center). Do not leave it in Downloads.
2. Right-click install-center.cmd → Run as administrator. The script creates the SaintBackup Center service, which starts with the machine and restarts automatically if it stops unexpectedly.
3. Open http://localhost:8720 and set a PIN.

Initial setup

MariaDB on the Center

Go to Settings → MariaDB on the Center (Cài đặt → MariaDB trên Center), enter an account that can create databases (usually root), and click Test connection (Kiểm tra kết nối). This is the target of every restore and restore test.

Fixed address (if using method 1)

If the Center has a static IP or a domain name, enter it in Fixed address for Agents to call (Địa chỉ cố định cho Agent gọi tới) (for example backup.congty.vn), open port 8721 on the firewall and router, then restart the service:

Repository

The default is %ProgramData%\SaintBackup\center\storage. Move it to a larger drive in Settings → Storage (Cài đặt → Lưu trữ). Set how many days to keep full and incremental backups.
