Storage and prepare

The Center keeps zips for the configured number of days and always has one prepared copy ready for each Agent.

Automatic prepare

Every backup received is immediately merged into the _prepared folder. When a new full backup arrives, the Center prepares it and then deletes the old prepared copy. The status appears as Ready to restore to … (Sẵn sàng khôi phục tới …).

If the chain is broken (an incremental is missing), the Center records the reason and waits for the next full backup — or click Run full now (Chạy full ngay). The Re-prepare from the latest full (Prepare lại từ bản full gần nhất) button rebuilds from the zips still on disk.

Retention policy

• Full backups are kept for KeepFullDays days (default 7), incrementals for KeepIncDays days (default 3).
• The current chain (the latest full backup and the incrementals after it) is never deleted.
• Cleanup runs every 6 hours; partially received files older than 7 days are deleted.
